Anton Cosmo made his live debut with legendary super-group Boston at the Fiesta Bowl in 2002 and toured with them until 2004. His writing credits include three songs placed on Boston’s latest album “Corporate America” (Artemis Records). Anton’s song “Turn It Off” was featured in a national campaign that kicked off Launch.com (Yahoo!) in 2003. In 2006 Anton wrote and produced the debut album “Alien,” for the band Cosmo on Frontiers Records, which features his father Fran Cosmo on vocals. It was hailed as one of the best melodic rock records of 2006
A N T O N C O S M O “THE IN BETWEEN” 2011
The “In Between” is a 14 song compilation of pop rock tunes released by Earth Alarm Records. Anton gives a nod to influences such as U2 and Incubus, as well as echoes of visionaries like Peter Gabriel. Anton’s lyrics and soaring pop arena rock sound have a dark edge, with some songs influenced by the public’s current fascination with vampire sagas such as “Twilight,” and the popular HBO series “True Blood.”
The CD will be available at FYE, Best Buy, and Amazon, as well as available digitally wherever records are sold including www.101distribution.com and iTunes.
A N T O N C O S M O “A BEAUTIFUL CHAOS” 2011
“A Beautiful Chaos” album was written from many of my influences and experiences through this journey of life, good and bad. It does not really fit in to a specific genre. It’s a combination of pop, rock, ambient and dance.
I took a different approach by mixing a hooky melodic commercial Radio, TV, and film friendly sound with the heart and soul of the independent artist.
Music is about feel, I try to capture the essence of what I am feeling at that particular time in my life and try to put it on audio for the world to hear. What happens from there is history.
A N T O N C O S M O “THE SIMULACRUM” 2012
An “EPIC” album influenced by war and peace There is a place we all know of, a place we to hide from our reality. “The Simulacrum”.
